Jim Jones is an Associate Professor in the College of Architecture and Urban Studies at Virginia Tech and Director for the Center for High Performance Learning Environments (CHPLE). Working with teams of students, faculty, school representatives and corporate partners, Dr. Jones directs research intended to better understand the interrelationships between learning, technology and the classroom. The CHPLE seeks to improve learning environments while making them energy efficient and sustainable with high indoor environmental quality.
